Taylor Swift's music is back on TikTok ahead of her latest album's release

Taylor Swift’s music returns to TikTok after a dispute over royalties. Swift’s songs have reappeared on the social platform ahead of the release of her new album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department.’ Universal Music Group, the distributor of her music, had removed her songs and those of other artists after a licensing agreement with TikTok expired. Universal accused TikTok of proposing low payment rates, diluting artist royalties, and enabling AI-generated music. The terms of Swift’s return to TikTok have not been disclosed. Music from other Universal artists is still absent from the platform.
